I’m not sure if hyperplasia [muscle-fiber splitting] exists, but it seems to have merit. Hell, I look better, and X Reps in the stretch position have really helped—along with lots of tension time, squeezing and stretching. Despite the pain, X Reps and X-hybrid techniques [outlined in your e-books] are some of the best training tools I have ever used, and I recently proved just how effective they are. After allowing myself to indulge in a doughnut diet (I don’t suggest it—it’s tasty but not that great for muscle size) I found myself in very brutal shape; I needed to get lean and add some size in a hurry. X Reps combined with stretch overload and extreme stretching transformed my physique in eight weeks. I went from a fat 220 pounds to a tight 210 with abs in only eight weeks. You can see that I dropped bodyfat while adding lots of muscle and strength, something I’ve always found difficult to do.

I’ve always been a natural competitor, and I used to train for long periods—close to 2 hours per workout—but X Reps changed that. Now my longest workout is about an hour, and I can hardly describe the difference this alone has made! Better pumps and more size and definition. Your X-Rep program is really great! I’m 32 years old and have been lifting for almost 15 years—always staying natural. I started with classic volume training for years, doing 10 to 20 sets per bodypart twice a week—no big gains. What a waste of time! After that, I tried high intensity, training like Dorian Yates. I gained a little lean mass, then cut the volume even more as I followed the Mentzer way, but it never felt right. Training each bodypart only once per week is not optimal.
