First of July and I made my legs cry. Or something like that. Great leg workout, and I have a feeling they’ll get as sore as they were after the last leg workout. I might have to rethink the interval cardio on leg days, though…
Quads/Hamstrings: Squats (3×10,15,10); Lunges (3×10); Stiff-legged deadlifts (3×8,10,8) ss Sissy squats (3×8)
Calves: Seated calf raises (3×20) ss Freehand standing calf raises (3×35,30,25)

Summary: Legs were toast, but I still tacked on my post-weight-workout interval cardio. I’d call it medium intensity today, but it was still rough. Probably better to skip the cardio right after legs, but I also want to get into decent shape, so it’s an inner battle. I know the risks, though, so I’ll probably adjust accordingly; I tend to lose muscle fairly easily with too much cardio, and that would work against my goals.
