Recently we’ve had a lot of questions about the embarrassing occurrence of male breasts–and not just from our older readers. It appears that Man-Boobs, or “moobs,” is becoming an epidemic primarily because of diet mistakes and rising environmental toxins, but there is help with how to get rid of your man boobs.
Of course, some anabolic steroids can cause the male-breast effect, but a lot of times it’s triggered by diet and toxins in such things as shampoo (the link below explains more)…
You’ve probably heard the medical name: Gynecomastia. “Gyno” is caused by an increase in estrogen in men as their testosterone drops. (Or in the case of steroids, excess testosterone “aromatizes” into estrogen–not good.)
A quarter of all older guys suffer from man breasts, according to the Mayo Clinic, but even younger men are leaving their shirts on at the beach or pool because of it .
One dietary culprit is soy–the phytoestrogens can mimic the female hormone in your body. Be sure to look at labels on protein bars and other foods to be sure you’re not taking in too much soy…
As for exercise, some can help get rid of your man boobs, but others, especially if overdone, can make the problem worse by jacking up cortisol, which kills testosterone, leaving estrogen overweighted…
There are a lot more triggers you should be aware of as well as natural solutions (no surgery necessary) to get rid of man boobs.
