The proper attitude is to go into the gym like a rational human being and perform only the precise amount of exercise required by nature. More is not better, less is not better; the precise amount required is best.

I’m biased, but I think the workouts in Old Man Young Muscle and OMYM2 are best—although everyone’s “precise amount” varies.

You get maximal fiber recruitment via minimal sets with safety and precision…

Five to 10 minutes for each muscle with three to four sets give you built-in warmup, fiber-array cascade, and high-threshold motor unit recruitment emphasizing the ideal exercises.
