As great as summer is for outdoor fun and activities, the heat can drop off any time now and we’d be very happy. With a heat index hovering between 105-110, we can’t even do anything outside, but it makes me happy to train in a basement where it’s relatively cool…

Summary: Despite the heat, my son and I had a fun boys-only weekend, but we’re happy to have the whole family back together again now that my wife is back in town. My son was exhausted from all of our fun, though, as there was no sign of him in the gym this morning. LOL! Great workout and buckets of sweat to make me feel like I’m working even harder. Probably helped get rid of some of the junk in my system from all the fun meals with the boy, too.
