Jonathan: Delts, Arms (back to business)

It was all about getting back to business this morning. You may have noticed my schedule last week wasn’t exactly a regular one. It’s funny that after nearly 24 years of training, you still have to be ready for the unexpected. Nothing bad, just a week that had a lot of last-minute issues to deal with. Back to the muscle-blasting party this morning though…

Delts: DB upright rows (3×20,9,6: DP 3X); Seated laterals (3×10 + X Reps) ss DB presses (3×10 + X Reps)
Triceps: DB extensions (3×20,9,6: DP 3X); Overhead extensions (3×10 + X Reps) ss Bench dips (3×12 + X Reps)
Biceps: DB curls (3×20,9,6–DP 3X); Incline curls (3×10 + X Reps) ss Facedown incline DB curls (3×12 + X Reps)
Forearms: Wrist curls (3×12) ss Reverse wrist curls (3×12)

Summary

I didn’t even realize how long it had been since doing a by-the-book, real-deal MMX workout until I made the decision this morning. I was going to go standard POF across the board, but altering rep tempos sounded like a good time, and I had a quick flashback to how much I liked the routine. My memory served me well, as it was a fantastic workout! Since I’m currently hitting each workout twice a week, I’m thinking Super-TORQ MMX for the first and POF MMX for the second is a good balance.
