Steve: MMX Midrange Monday (legs/chest/back +)
It’s the day after Christmas and all through the gym there were new creatures lifting and dropping dumbbells and slamming weights like complete assholes. Lol. People are off work today and decided to work out early–interfering with mine. No problem. Steve: MMX Contracted-Stretch (legs/chest/back/delts/arms/abs)
I rolled Wednesday’s delts/arms/abs work into today’s workout, so I chose to do a contracted move, 2 sets, followed by a stretch set with Double-X Overload–that’s a partial rep in the stretch position after each full rep. Change and pain to gain

I just had my first-ever triple-threat Thursday workout. Thanks to my son coughing in my face over the past couple days, I seem to be fighting off a cold. I love a good winter workout, and some of my best training has been in the cold winter months. That being said, I was glad I didn’t have to leave the house to get to the gym today. It was -10° outside, so throwing on some sweats and heading the to the basement was a welcome treat compared to other options. Great one today, and even better that it’s a Sunday morning with a day of recovery to look forward to…
