I’m back to quoting Dr. James DiNicolantonio (Instagram: @drjamesdinic), whose insights usually have me nodding in agreement:
Lifting weights will fix your testosterone.
Going on walks will fix your anxiety.
Time in the sun will fix your mood.
Sufficient sleep will fix your low energy.
The right diet will fix your body.

I’m convinced that when I became over-enthusiastic recently and began overtraining, it smacked down my testosterone—which is why I began losing muscle. I recently had my testosterone checked with blood work, and it registered 703, impressively high for a 63-year-old—no hormone-replacement therapy or drugs whatsoever.
