Not many people knew that Bruce Lee was only 3’4”, which is why he was called “The Little Dragon.” You can see that in this photo. He is using his famous ear parry to divert the fist of a young Malcom X.
Okay, Lee was really 5’8”. And that’s basketball star Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, who was 7’2” and would make anyone look tiny. By the way, Kareem was a fan of Malcom X, so we’re hoping he won’t come looking for us due to that joke…
The above photo is a still from Lee’s last movie, the unfinished “Game of Death.” It was unfinished by Lee at least. Some people took the footage and created a piece of kung-fooy crap after his death—but the fight scenes with Lee were excellent.
By the way, Lee weighed only 128 pounds, but when his muscle was visible in detail, he had a rippling ripped look that shocked many.
He knew that being well-defined gives you the illusion of more size…
