Steve: Rest/Pause Friday (MMX Compound Aftershock full body)

Valentine’s Day weekend, and this workout almost gave me a heart attack. Why? I decided to do a rest/pause set on the compound exercise–but instead of doing it on only a few bodyparts, I got carried away and did it on almost all (in the () below). At least I got to enjoy my breakfast a second time. Lol.

Steve: Change-to-Gain Monday (Full-Body MMX)

I‘ve been using MMX Compound Aftershock for a while (supersetting high-rep stretch move with a lower-rep compound exercise). Today I decided to go all compound moves with straight MMX–first set 20 reps, add weight, second set 8-10 reps. Not a bad workout to start the week after the super weekend. Between an annual dinner we attended and a great Super Bowl party, there was a lot of good times and and plenty of mid-winter BBQ to enjoy.
