Arnold was a master at getting women to pick him up at the gym: “Lift me for my Strudel recipe.” (We could’ve made the line a euphemism, but decided against it.)
That’s women’s bodybuilding pioneer Lisa Lyon, one of the very first to appear in the bodybuilding magazine back in the late ’70s. She passed away in 2023 at age 70.

It’s interesting that one of Arnold’s favorite biceps routines shaped the Positions-of-Flexion mass-training method (see the OMYM and OMYM2 ebooks).
POF hits each muscle from three distinct angles, or positions—midrange, stretch, and contracted…
He still has plenty of muscle today at age 75; however, he now uses a more abbreviated program, his workouts lasting only about half an hour…
And he begins each muscle with a high-rep set, very similar to the STX method.
