Here’s a pose you rarely see Frank Zane doing—a most-muscular—unless he’s been eating too much cheese.
Seriously, the reason this pose is so rare for Zane is because he was more into aesthetics, not gargoyle mass.
The three-time Mr. Olympia weighed in the mid-180s at 5’9” onstage. Still, he beat bodybuilders much heavier and larger.
The key to Zane’s bodybuilding success was crisp definition with etched proportion and attention to detail—like round, capped shoulders and delineated abs…
He’s a shining example of the fact that when you’re smaller but ripped, you can still appear muscularly massive.
So if you want to look bigger than you actually are, drop some fat, but do it slowly and methodically to retain your muscle. Too fast and you starve away mass.
We’ve found that the best way is the method outlined in the ebook The Muscle-On, Belly-Gone “Diet”—which you can get free with Old Man, Young Muscle.
You’ll get leaner and look bigger without starving.
Till next time, train hard—and smart—for BIG results.
