Moment of Bodybuilding Zen 187: Arnold’s Traffic-Stopping Walk

One of Arnold’s past hobbies was to walk the streets shirtless and see how many car accidents he could cause. The truck in the background barely avoided a light pole and a bearded man in a turban on skates playing a guitar. (Yes, it was Venice, California.)

We’re not sure who took the photo, but it was one of those special shots that motivated us to hit the gym with a vengeance. What young buck doesn’t want to walk around looking like that?…

Yes, Arnold had incredible genetics. Plus, according to those who hung around the Oak at the original Gold’s Gym back then, he could go from off-season smooth and small to competitive big and ripped in a matter of weeks. His genetics and receptors to, um, “supplements” were that good.

We’ve also mentioned Arnold’s ability to focus almost robotically on the target muscle throughout every rep of every set. No wonder he was so good in “Terminator”…
