While he sometimes trained with Mr. Olympia Lee Haney, who was considered a more aesthetic bodybuilder, Rich’s genetics were more blocky—slightly wider waist and narrower shoulders…
But Gaspari did an incredible job of sculpting his physique to camouflage those flaws, as this photo shows.
And what’s amazing is that he still looks impressive today at age 58. We put him on the cover of Iron Man about 10 years ago as he approached age 50. Incredible physique for an older dude.
