It’s finally Friday! No, that’s not just excitement for the weekend, but also happiness that the soreness from Monday’s workout finally subsided. I was still sore from head to toe yesterday morning, so I took it as a much-needed recovery day. The Super-TORQ did it’s job, so I went with POF work today to balance the pain through the week. LOL…

There’s one thing even more exhausting than 50-rep squats, and that’s 50-rep stiff-legged deadlifts. I’ve commented before about the comedy of walking up multiple flights of stairs after my leg workouts, but today offered a whole new brand of slow-mo stair climbing. The change from POF early in the week to 10×10 for the late-week workouts keeps thing interesting, and helps bring back the Freaky Friday fluctuation. For the most part, I really love having a gym in the basement. The only time I have second thoughts is during the stair stumbling that goes on when I’m done with the workout.
