This standing-relaxed pic of Bob Paris is one that we cut out of an old Iron Man magazine and put up on our bulletin board for motivation…
Yes, we’ve featured Paris multiple times in our Zen series, but for good reason: He had one of the most perfectly proportioned and symmetrical physiques to ever grace a bodybuilding stage…
When he first came on the scene, bodybuilding writer Rick Wayne dubbed him the new Steve Reeves. Like that 1950s bodybuilder who played Hercules on the silver screen, Paris had near-perfect bodybuilding genetics—broad shoulders, full muscle bellies in almost every group and high lats that made his waist look tiny…
And he knew how to train to maximize his genetic gifts, without hammering his joints into submission. He sculpted, as evidenced by two of his key training tips that he always emphasized:
1) “Training with weights is much more than just swinging weights around. In order to be successful and avoid injury, you must learn to feel muscles being focused on.”
2) “Perfect exercise form is more important to your progress than lifting the heaviest weight you can pick up.”
Like Reeves and Arnold before him, he always focused on “muscle feel.” That’s extremely important, especially if you train at home with limited equipment. You gotta make every set count—to somehow trigger hypertrophy even if the weight is only moderate…
So everything from a 1/3 rep tempo to slow-mo reps to higher reps for anabolic hormone release will keep your mass gains coming…
For more on how to use those mass-building tactics and more, please check out our expanded Muscle-Building Quick Start Guide. The NEW 2.0 version has many of those mass tactics infused into complete at-home slow-twitch-exhaustion workouts in a big, updated section…
The workouts are tailored to build muscle in a bare-bones home gym with only moderate poundages—all you need is an adjustable bench and dumbbells (all we have is a bench and the a PowerBlock set, and it’s working for us big-time—we look forward to every workout)…

Till next time, train hard—and smart—for BIG results.

#1 Way To Boost Testosterone and Build Lean Muscle Mass Fast
Testosterone is converted to the female hormone estrogen inside of fat tissues, so the higher amount of body fat you carry, the higher rate of this conversion (resulting in you becoming less of a man).
In addition, we know testosterone is the single greatest factor in muscle growth and fat loss, which is why so many bodybuilders take anabolic steroids.
If your testosterone levels aren’t at an optimal level, any time spent in the gym can be a waste because your body won’t be in the right anabolic environment to build muscle and burn body fat…
